About the Role
Our client is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support day-to-day payroll operations, employee data management, reporting, and payroll-related inquiries. This position will serve as backup to the Payroll Specialist and assist with U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll processing.
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities

Enter new hires, terminations, and employee changes into payroll, timekeeping, expense management, and other systems.

The Payroll Administrator will review timesheets and assist with identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies.

Support U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll processing and serve as backup to the Payroll Specialist.

Assist with benefit vendor file feeds and ensure accurate payroll deductions.

Process unemployment notices, tax withholding, child support orders, and other garnishments.

Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to Finance, Human Resources, and department leaders.

The Payroll Administrator will respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality of employee information.

The Payroll Administrator will support the corporate credit card program and assist with employee setup and issue resolution in Concur.
Qualifications for the Payroll Administrator Role

1-3 years of payroll experience preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.

General knowledge of multi-state payroll, employment regulations, and income tax laws.

ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and cross-functional teams.
