This is a high-visibility role responsible for full-cycle payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS support. Payroll & Benefits Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and audit bi-weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees, including bonuses and commissions

  • The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will maintain HRIS data integrity and support payroll/benefits system configurations

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, deductions, and vendor coordination

  • Support compliance reporting and filings (including ACA, 401(k), EEO-1, and unemployment)

  • The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will generate payroll, benefits, and headcount reports for HR and leadership

  • Serve as primary point of contact for payroll, benefits, HRIS, and leave-related inquiries

  • The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will assist with audits and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulations

Qualifications of the Payroll & Benefits Specialist Role:

  • 3–5 years of experience in payroll, benefits, HRIS, or related HR/finance function

  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems (UKG preferred)

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

  • Experience with compliance reporting, audits, or regulatory filings preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
