Title: Payroll Manager

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + Full Benefits (100% employer-paid medical premiums)

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of hands-on, in-house payroll processing experience with full ownership of payroll
  • Extensive union payroll experience, including collective bargaining agreements, wage classifications, fringes, deductions, and certified payroll
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, overtime, and compliance
  • Experience with payroll systems, timekeeping platforms, and advanced Excel
  • Detail-oriented professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys being the payroll subject matter expert

Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for a mixed workforce, including union employees
  • Administer collective bargaining agreements, certified payroll, wage schedules, fringes, and deductions
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing, tax filings, reconciliations, year-end reporting, and audits
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance on reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
  • Serve as the primary internal payroll expert and identify opportunities for process improvements
