Payroll Specialist – Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for approximately 280 employees
- Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours, deductions, taxes, and bonuses
- Handle off-cycle payrolls, garnishments, adjustments, and reimbursements
- Support payroll tax filings, W-2 preparation, and year-end processes
- Maintain payroll records, accruals, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist with onboarding and provide support on select HR-related activities
- Partner with the Controller on reporting and process improvements
Payroll Specialist – Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, compliance, and multi-state payroll
- Experience with garnishments and ability to work independently
- Strong Excel skills; Paylocity or Deltek experience is a plus
