Payroll Specialist
This position serves as a key member of a collaborative payroll team, taking ownership of semi-monthly multi-state payroll runs. Based out of Lake Oswego, the Payroll Specialist ensures precision across payroll processing, division reporting, and assisting with tax compliance as needed. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,000 – $62,400 per year

Primary Responsibilities
- Multi-State Payroll Execution: Manage end-to-end processing of semi-monthly payroll cycles across multiple states for salaried, hourly, and commissioned personnel.
- Garnishment & Deduction Management: Administer all mandatory deductions, wage attachments, and garnishments, ensuring precise calculations and timely communication.
- Account Reconciliation & Reporting: Assist with payroll general ledger balancing, generate divisional management reports, and complete formal employment verifications.
- Taxes & Compliance: Assist with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including establishing new state tax accounts, processing filings, and resolving tax agency inquiries.
- Employee & Team Support: Act as a responsive point of contact for payroll inquiries while delivering accurate customer service.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Experience with multi-state payroll.
- Proficient in utilizing Human Capital Management (HCM) software. (i.e. ADP, Paychex, Paycom, etc.)
- Exceptional numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
