POS Field Technician – Tier II
Overview:
A leading and long-standing organization in the retail technology and grocery distribution space is seeking a POS Field Technician to support point-of-sale systems across a growing network of independent retail locations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that combines technical troubleshooting with customer-facing service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote and onsite support for POS systems across retail locations
  • Install, configure, and maintain POS hardware and software
  • Support store openings, upgrades, and system conversions
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time store environments
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support
  • Train end users and ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting retail or supermarket POS systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware + software)
  • Ability to travel regularly and work flexible hours
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with LOC SMS or similar POS platforms preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
