Location: South Bend, IN
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Salary: $52,000- $62,400
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Customer Service & Project Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, coordinating multiple projects, and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish. The right person is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a desire to grow within a company known for long-term employee retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process.
- Coordinate new telephone and security camera system installations from start to finish.
- Meet with customers to understand their needs and determine system configuration requirements.
- Schedule technicians, equipment, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Visit customer sites during installations to assist with coordination and ensure a smooth implementation.
- Train customers on the operation of their new phone and camera systems before, during, and after installation.
- Follow up with customers after installation to answer questions, make system adjustments, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries by phone and email, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate parts ordering and staging for upcoming installations.
- Utilize CRM software (Tigerpaw – training provided) to manage customer information and projects.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and update customer records.
- Work closely with technicians, customer service representatives, and internal departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, account coordination, project coordination, or related experience preferred.
- Previous project coordination or light project management experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions).
- Experience with CRM software is preferred (Tigerpaw experience is a plus; training provided).
- QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Willingness to travel locally to customer sites as needed
