Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit real estate group seeking a Property Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant:
- Responsible for all accounting functions for 25+ properties, including owning month-end close
- Interface with managers of business units, production facility staff, and the corporate finance staff
- Coordinate with the AP team to make sure all invoices are paid and properly sorted in the system
- Partner with the AR team to reconcile revenue
- Assist with year-end audits, preparing State and Federal cost reports and other regulatory filings
Background Expected of the Property Accountant:
- 3+ years’ experience in an Accounting Assistant role in property accounting or 1+ year(s) as a Property Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)
- Experience with Yardi is a plus
- Intermediate Excel skills required including pivot tables and vlookups
Salary range:
$60,000 – 80,000
