Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support accounting operations across residential and commercial properties
- Analyze property financial performance and provide reporting to leadership
- Assist with cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Real estate, property management, or construction accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
