Key Responsibilities for the Purchasing Manager:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Review and approve purchase orders while monitoring vendor performance, delivery schedules, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain inventory levels through forecasting, demand planning, and coordination with operational stakeholders.
- Resolve supplier-related issues involving pricing, delivery delays, quality concerns, and contract compliance.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization.
Qualifications for the Purchasing Manager:
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, forecasting, logistics, and supply chain risk management.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
