Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
• Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Support annual audits and work directly with external auditors
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Partner with operational teams to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
