Senior Accountant
Location: Bristol, Indiana (Fully Onsite)
Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the accounting and finance team through ownership of the month-end close process, external audit coordination, account reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting activities. This is a fully onsite opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate annual external audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors.
- Support the full month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
- Assist with physical inventory counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations.
- Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Manufacturing, inventory, and external audit experience preferred.
