Salary: $88,000 – $98,000

What You’ll Do as a Senior Accountant

Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure financial transactions are recorded appropriately

Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Research account discrepancies, analyze financial activity, and resolve balancing issues

Assist with financial reporting, annual audits, and regulatory reporting requirements

Provide accounting support, guidance, and training to internal stakeholders

Participate in ERP implementation, testing, system improvements, and accounting process enhancements

Help strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy

Serve as a knowledgeable accounting resource for departments throughout the organization
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of accounting, finance, or audit experience

Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis

Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

Comfortable researching discrepancies and working through complex accounting issues

Strong Excel and financial systems skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Governmental, nonprofit, public-sector, or similarly complex accounting experience is helpful but not required

ERP implementation or system conversion experience is a plus
