A growing real estate investment and property management company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team and play a key role in supporting a rapidly expanding multifamily portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, partnering with leadership, and contributing to process improvements in a collaborative environment.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll have exposure to all aspects of property accounting while helping support a growing portfolio of multifamily assets across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Complete bank reconciliations and cash account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage general ledger activity and journal entries
- Analyze financial performance and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support investor and ownership reporting requirements
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting
- Collaborate with accounting leadership on process improvements and automation initiatives
- Work closely with property operations and executive leadership teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Property accounting experience strongly preferred
- Multifamily real estate experience highly desired
- Commercial real estate accounting experience will also be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software desired
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $85,000–$95,000
