The Opportunity
Our client, an established manufacturing company is hiring a Senior Accountant ready to take the next step toward leadership. This Senior Accountant will own core accounting work, guide a small team, and have a real voice in how the department runs as the company grows.
What You’ll Do
As Senior Accountant, you will:
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Own key pieces of month-end close and financial reporting
- Train, support, and review the work of a small accounting team
- Oversee vendor payments and AP activity
- Support payroll and related accounting functions
- Find and fix inefficiencies in processes and internal controls
- Partner with leadership on reporting and analysis
What You Bring
The ideal Senior Accountant brings:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of general ledger accounting experience (JEs, recs, close, reporting)
- Strong Excel skills
- A preference for ownership and hands-on work
Bonus Points
- You’ve led a team or mentored others
- Payroll experience
- Inventory, distribution, manufacturing.
