Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and integrity across accounts as the Senior Accountant
- Support full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and month‑end close as the Senior Accountant
- Manage key accounting areas such as prepaids, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and general ledger activity as the Senior Accountant
- Partner across AP, AR, and payroll teams to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting as the Senior Accountant
- Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities as the Senior Accountant
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with strong GAAP and month‑end close knowledge
- Proven experience owning reconciliations and working in a multi‑functional accounting environment; ERP experience preferred
