Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Drive month-end close processes and contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Oversee complex reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting activities across the organization.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting to identify trends and support business decision-making.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and strengthen the reliability of financial data and reporting.
- Partner with leadership to improve processes, enhance controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing financial variances.
- Experience supporting payroll accounting activities is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
