Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Manage accounting activities including general ledger functions, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close support.
- Prepare and analyze job cost reports, WIP schedules, change orders, and subcontractor billings.
- Support accounts payable processes, statement reconciliations, waiver tracking, and payment follow-up with general contractors.
- Perform invoicing, billing, cost reporting, and various accounting projects as assigned.
- Utilize advanced Excel tools to analyze financial data and prepare reporting.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Proven Senior Accountant experience with the ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
- Strong general ledger, month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred.
