A well‑established real estate organization is seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Senior Accountant to support property‑level and corporate accounting functions. Key Responsibilities
• Manage property accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and full‑cycle financial support for assigned properties
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP
• Lead monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash analysis, and support treasury‑related activities
• Collaborate with internal teams, property managers, and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational alignment
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting
• Experience with property accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar) strong plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
