Senior Fixed Assets Accountant

Target Compensation: $80,000–$90,000

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Fixed Assets Accountant:

  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records for rental fleet, vehicles, equipment, and other capital assets.
  • Review asset additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and general ledger activity.
  • Clean up historical asset data and prepare records for implementation of a new fixed asset module.
  • Partner with fleet, operations, and accounting teams to improve asset tracking and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end close, fixed asset reporting, audit requests, and process improvements.

Qualifications for the Senior Fixed Assets Accountant:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with strong fixed asset, fleet, or asset-intensive accounting exposure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP and fixed asset or fleet management systems; Sage Intacct experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and analysis of large data sets.
