Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Accountant Role:
- Manage the financials for a portfolio of projects including tracking costs, revenue, margins, and WIP reporting
- Partner closely with Project Managers to support billing cycles, change orders, and overall project financial performance
- Review and approve billings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project progress
- Process payroll and perform weekly time and equipment reconciliations tied to project activity
- Perform detailed account reconciliations related to project financials
Requirements for the Senior Project Accountant Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred
- Construction or project‑based accounting experience strongly preferred
- Interest in long‑term growth and potential future leadership opportunities
