Position: Senior Project Biller (AIA Billing)

Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 plus bonus

The Senior Project Biller’s Responsibilities

    • Manage project contracts from setup through closeout, including contract review, change orders, and compliance documentation.
    • Prepare and submit customer invoices, including AIA, progress, T&M, lump sum, and cost-plus billings.
    • Partner with Project Managers to ensure accurate billing, contract compliance, and timely project reporting.
    • Track retainage, lien waivers, customer portal submissions, and other project documentation requirements.
    • Monitor accounts receivable aging, assist with collections efforts, and support resolution of billing discrepancies.
    • Leverage ERP systems, reporting tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of construction billing, contract administration, or project administration experience.
  • Strong experience with AIA billing and construction invoicing processes.
  • Experience working within construction ERP systems; Vista/Viewpoint experience is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of construction contracts, change orders, and project billing requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyze project-related data.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams, customers, and finance leadership.
  • Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
