Key Responsibilities for the Legal Accountant:
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and related workflows
• Assist with trust accounting compliance, reporting, and reconciliations
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial compliance initiatives
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and related workflows
• Assist with trust accounting compliance, reporting, and reconciliations

Qualifications for the Legal Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and financial analysis
• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
• Experience with Trust Accounting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and financial analysis
• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
• Experience with Trust Accounting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
