Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Help prepare financial statements and internal reports
- Analyze variances and assist with budget tracking
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience (internship experience considered)
