Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is looking to grow within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist with audits, including preparing schedules and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reporting
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3+ years of accounting experience (internships considered)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
