A well-established construction company in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This opening represents a true long-term opportunity within a stable, process-driven environment.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required).
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (or strong internship experience).
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentals.
- Construction or manufacturing accounting exposure is a plus.
- Experience with Viewpoint Vista is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Apply cash receipts and support AR functions.
- Assist with billing for the manufacturing entity.
- Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization and depreciation.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns.
- Support month-end close and general ledger activities.
- Work closely with the Controller and Senior Staff Accountant on daily accounting operations.
