CFS Opportunity: Staff Accountant
Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid, 1 Day Remote After Onboarding)
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 + Up to 5% Bonus
CFS is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its expanding finance team. Responsibilities
- The Staff Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of business entities.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Process payroll, banking transactions, and general ledger activity.
- Serve as a key accounting contact for operational stakeholders.
- Assist with integrating newly acquired entities into accounting systems and processes.
- Support financial reporting, process improvement projects, and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
- Advanced Excel skills required; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Experience with payroll and multi-entity accounting is preferred.
- Highly organized professional with strong communication and analytical skills.
