Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Assist with monthly contract invoices including entering into the general ledger
- Record all gifts/receivables within the general ledger and reconcile AR
- Review payroll records and prepare payroll journal entry
- Assist with audit preparation
Background Expected of the Staff Accountant:
- Associate degree in accounting or related field OR additional 3 years of working experience
- 1+ year(s) of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in payroll is highly preferred
- Nonprofit industry familiarity is a plus
Salary Range:
$55,000 – 60,000
