Key Responsibilities: Staff Accountant
- Own the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and support day-to-day accounting operations
- Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets, analyze variances, and support informed business decisions
- Cross-train with team members to strengthen accounting operations and build process continuity
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness and operational excellence
Qualifications: Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited U.S. institution
- 2+ years of accounting experience with hands-on exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, and financial operations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Authorized to work in the United States and located in Connecticut
- 1+ year of experience within the consumer packaged goods industry
