Staff Accountant (Recent Accounting Graduates Encouraged to Apply!)

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant who is eager to build a career in accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate or an early-career accountant looking to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable, sales tax, costing, and general accounting. Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, match invoices to purchase orders, and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Prepare ACH and check payment batches and assist with corporate credit card processing.
- Assist with monthly sales and use tax filings for multiple states using Vertex.
- Support monthly costing by compiling freight and product cost information.
- Pull reports, export data to Excel, and assist with financial reporting.
- Track wire payments for imported products and support additional accounting projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Recent accounting graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, or general accounting is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV is a plus, but not required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
