Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Help prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support audits and tax preparation by gathering necessary documentation.
Background Expected of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (internship experience accepted, or corporate experience a plus)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
