Target Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000

Key Responsibilities for the Tax Accountant:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients.
  • Serve as the primary contact for an established client base of approximately 300 accounts.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues while providing exceptional client service.
  • Assist in the growth of the firm’s bookkeeping and outsourced accounting services.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and support overall client success.

Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; Associate degree candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • CPA preferred; EA designation required for non-CPA candidates as part of long-term development.
  • 2-3+ years of public accounting tax preparation experience.
  • Experience reviewing tax returns and working with multiple entity types, including partnerships and corporations.
