Business Development Manager – Teachers transitioning to Sales

About the Role
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to drive new client relationships while growing and maintaining existing partnerships. This is a relationship-focused sales role where your ability to connect, listen, and problem-solve will set you apart.
You’ll gain exposure to a variety of industries, provide solutions that create value for clients and candidates, and play a meaningful role in helping businesses build strong teams.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain client relationships through consistent communication and networking
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach (phone, email, and meetings—both virtual and in-person)
- Partner with internal team members to deliver best-in-class service
- Provide exceptional follow-up and client support
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 1–5 years of professional experience (teaching experience encouraged!)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a wide range of people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
What We Offer
- Compensation: Base salary $50,000 – 60,000 (depending on experience) + uncapped commissions. Average year 1 OTE $65,000 – $80,000. Year 2 and beyond $75,000 – 100,000+.
